ACC Police: Barnett Shoals Road home invasion

Press release from the Athens-Clarke County Police:

On 05/21/2017 at 10:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Woodland Condos off Barnett Shoals Road in reference to a home invasion. The victims stated that three black males entered their residence through the front door by kicking in a baby gate. The victim stated that at least two of the suspects were armed with handguns, and one of the suspects demanded them to “give up everything.” During the incident, the family’s dog began to bark and run at the suspects. All three suspects fled on foot towards the back gate in the direction of Clarke Garden Apartments. The victims gave the description of three young black males and stated that one of them was thin and had on a gray shirt that was pulled over his head. No one was injured during this incident.
