Gainesville bank robber sought, Hall Co drug suspects arrested

Police in Gainesville were, at last report, still searching for a suspect in this week’s bank robbery: the gunman held up a Wells Fargo bank branch at the intersection of Jesse Jewell and Limestone Parkways in Gainesville’s New Holland community.

There are cocaine and methamphetamine charges for a White County woman arrested in Hall County. Sharon Shirley is 51 years old, from Cleveland. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says she was booked into the Hall County jail after a traffic stop in Gainesville.

A 35 year-old Lula woman is arrested on burglary and drug charges: investigators in the Hall County Sheriff's Office say Bridget Davis broke into a home and stole prescription medication.

A Braselton teenager faces sexual assault charges in Hall County: the Hall County Sheriff's Office says allegations against 17 year-old Roger Brock stem from an incident at a party that took place last weekend. Brock has a court appearance scheduled for next week.
