Madison Co Commissioners meet, talk taxes

There is more bicycle talk on tap for tonight in Athens: the Athens-Clarke County Pedestrian and Bike Master Plan Committee is meeting in a 6 o’clock session at the Government Building on Dougherty Street.

Madison County Commissioners meet this evening: it’s a 6:30 session at the Madison County Government Complex in Danielsville. Look for more talk about the Madison County budget, which is expected to feature an increase in the county’s property tax rate.

A Hall County Commission work session is set for 3 o’clock this afternoon at the Hall County Government Center in Gainesville.
