Robbery suspect arrested, drowning victim identified

The man wanted for a restaurant robbery in Hart County is arrested in North Carolina. 37 year-old BJ Wood is from Fair Play South Carolina; he was arrested by police in Belmont North Carolina. He’s suspected in the July 12 restaurant robbery in Hartwell and was also wanted for two armed robberies in South Carolina. He’s being held in the jail Gaston County North Carolina on charges that also include auto theft.

We have this morning the name of the Hall County man who died in that weekend swimming incident in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Raymundo Garcia was 35 years old, from Gainesville. Witnesses say he was standing knee-deep in water with a young relative when a wave crashed over him. He died after being taken to a Myrtle Beach hospital.
