Sunday alcohol sales in Madison Co?

Madison County Commissioners meet this evening: it’s a 6:30 session at the Madison County Government Complex in Danielsville. Commissioners will take up the possibility of a Sunday alcohol sales referendum; they will look at possible changes to Madison County Recreation Department fees.

There is more talk about projects that could be funded if Athens-Clarke County voters approve a transportation sales tax referendum in November: the TSPLOST Citizens Advisory Committee meets, 5:30 this afternoon at the Snipes Water Resources Building on Barber Street.

The Clarke County School Board’s Policy Committee is meeting this afternoon: 4 o’clock at the HT Edwards Building in Athens.
