Suspects arrested on kidnapping, theft charges

A Commerce man is in the Banks County jail, facing a kidnapping charge: Dontavious Rucker is accused of abducting the 6 year-old child of his girlfriend. The alleged abduction happened at a convenience store in Homer.

A Hall County man is behind bars, charged in a jewelry heist: Jesse Maldonado is 32 years old, from Oakwood. He is accused of stealing $15,000 worth of jewelry from a home in Hall County. He’s in the Hall County jail, held on an $11,000 bond.
