UGA Blue Key awards tonight

The University of Georgia's annual Blue Key awards banquet is on tap for tonight, set for 6:30 at the Georgia Center. UGA says Blue Key recognizes undergraduate and graduate men and women of outstanding character and ability who have achieved distinction for scholarship and recognition for service and leadership.

Blue Key recognizes undergraduate and graduate men and women of outstanding character and ability who have achieved distinction for scholarship and recognition for service and leadership. Blue Key Service Awards will be presented to Randy Nuckolls, partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Dentons US LLP; Susan Waltman, executive vice president for legal, regulatory and professional affairs and general counsel for the Greater New York Hospital Association; Victor Wilson, vice president for student affairs at the University of Georgia; and David Williams, associate provost and director of the Honors Program at the University of Georgia. Matt Crim, cardiologist for the Piedmont Heart Institute and assistant professor of medicine with the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership, will receive the Blue Key Young Alumnus Award. Recipients of the Tucker Dorsey Memorial Scholarship, the Richard B. Russell Student Leadership Award, and the AT&T Student Leadership Award will also be announced.
