Former Georgia baseball players have made their professional debuts

The Georgia baseball team saw six of their starters from this past season sign contracts with professional teams after the 2019 MLB Draft. Five of those six players have made their professional debuts.

Aaron Schunk is playing in the Northwest League for the Boise Hawks, the Short-Season A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. In 10 games this season, Schunk has scored five times and is slashing .211/.250/.368 with one home run and three runs-batted-in.

LJ Talley is playing in the Midwest League for the Lansing Lugnuts, the Single A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. In six games this season, Talley has scored three times and is slashing .200/.333/.350 with one home run and three rbi.

Tim Elliott is playing in the Northwest League for the Everett AquaSox, the Short-Season A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. In three starts this season, Elliott has a 3.00 era while striking out eight batters and walking just two.

Tucker Maxwell is playing in the New York-Penn League for the Williamsport Crosscutters, the Short-Season A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. In three games this season, Maxwell is slashing .000/.091/.000.

Tony Locey is playing in the Gulf Coast League for the GCL Cardinals, the Rookie affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Locey was just assigned to the GCL Cardinals on June 24 and has yet to make his debut.

Zac Kristofak is playing in the Pioneer League for the Orem Owlz, the Rookie affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. In three games this season, Kristofak is 0-1 with a 9.00 era over three innings of work.
