A-CC Commissioners meet, could vote on plans for homeless camp

Athens-Clarke County Commissioners could vote tonight on a plan for a government-sanctioned homeless camp proposed for an old school building off North Chase Street in Athens. Tonight’s Commission meeting is set for 6 o’clock at City Hall.

Tonight’s Oconee County Commission meeting is set for 6 o’clock at the Oconee County courthouse in Watkinsville.

Madison County’s Planning and Zoning Board meets, 6:30 this evening in Danielsville.

There is a temporary relocation in Gainesville, where the Hall County Elections Office is moving to the fourth floor of the Hall County Government Center. The move comes as the building undergoes a renovation that includes replacing the Center’s heating and air conditioning system. Hall County Commissioners, who normally meet in the Government Center, are instead holding sessions at the Civic Center in Gainesville.
