ACCPD says man stole food, clothes in home break-in

A man from Habersham County is accused of making himself at home in a house in Athens: 39 year-old Dayton Hall is from Cornelia. Athens-Clarke County Police say he broke into a home on Moore’s Grove Road and stole food from a refrigerator. He also allegedly stole a shirt and broke into a car. Hall was arrested on Tallassee Road and booked into the Clarke County jail.

A Jackson County woman gets a 30-year prison sentence: 46 year-old Tracy Smallwood was arrested after hundreds of grams of methamphetamine were found at her home in Nicholson.

Police in Toccoa were, at last report, still searching for a suspect in a stabbing in Stephens County: police say a 29 year-old Toccoa man was stabbed and wounded in a convenience store parking lot.

There are murder charges for a woman in White County: Rita Sanders-Luse is 66 years old, from Cleveland. She’s charged in the shooting death of 41 year-old Mitchell Smallwood. The GBI is in on the ongoing investigation.
