Athens-Clarke GOP meets

Cole Muzio is with the Family Policy Alliance of Georgia. He's the scheduled speaker for this evening's meeting of the Athens-Clarke County Republican Party. The meeting is set for 6 o'clock at the Country Inn and Suites on Old Epps Bridge Road in Athens. 

There is an evening meeting of the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission: it's a 6 o'clock session at the Lyndon House Arts Center on Hoyt Street in Athens. 

The Oconee County Industrial Development Authority meets this afternoon, 4 o'clock at the headquarters of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce in Watkinsville.

There is grant money in Winder: Barrow County Emergency Services says it is using a $25,000 grant from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency to buy new helmets and bullet proof vests for emergency personnel.

A Hall County Commission work session is on tap for today: it’s underway at 3 o’clock at the Hall County Government Center in Gainesville.
