Athens man indicted after April incident

There are now indictments for the Athens man who climbed on the top of a parking deck attendant’s booth at the Clarke County courthouse: it happened back in April, after 27 year-old Demetrious Faust locked a judge in a courtroom and then scrambled to the roof of the booth and, at one point, exposed himself and threatened to kill the police officers who eventually arrested him. The indictments were handed up by a Clarke County grand jury.

Faust, at one point, told police he was upset a man stole his tools.

An officer attempted to reason with him, but police said Faust, 27, repeatedly ignored commands and exposed himself to authorities. He was charged with making terroristic threats and obstruction (both felonies) as well as public indecency, disorderly conduct and interference with government property.
