NE Ga bank robbery suspect arrested in Colorado

A White County man is arrested on armed robbery charges in Colorado: the Hall County Sheriff's Office says 48 year-old Michael Gordon held up a bank in Clermont almost two years ago; he was also wanted for a bank robbery in Cornelia.

A Franklin County man is arrested in Hart County: there are methamphetamine trafficking charges for Randy Hill. He's 49 years old, from Franklin Springs.

An Alto man faces DUI and other charges stemming from a vehicle vs pedestrian accident that happened in White County: the Georgia State Patrol says 41 year-old Christopher Hatter was driving the car that struck and injured a 45 year-old Helen man who was walking along Highway 75 in White County. The victim suffered what State Troopers say were serious injuries. 

Investigators in the Newton County Sheriff's Office are asking for help from the public in finding a suspect in a murder that happened back in October: 16 year-old Quentin Martin was shot and killed on October 24. The Alcovy High School junior was killed in what police say was an ambush-style shooting. There is a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case in Covington. 

A police investigation continues in Covington, where a Newton County man is charged with shooting and wounding his brother during an argument over a pair of shoes: 29 year-old David Regenwar was booked into the Newton County jail on an aggravated assault charge. He was arrested after a SWAT standoff at his home in Covington. His 25 year-old brother was taken to Grady with what were described as non life-threatening injuries.

The GBI says the suspects and the victim knew each other-but they're not talking motive in a Fannin County murder case, saying it's a part of their ongoing investigation. Two 15 year-olds--Blane Dickey and Hunter Hill--are charged with murder and are being held in a juvenile facility. Police found the body of 33 year-old Justin McKinney at a home in Morganton early Tuesday after a woman called authorities and said she and McKinney had been shot. McKinney was dead at the scene; the woman went to a hospital for treatment.
