Body of missing man found, child cruelty suspect charged

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says the body of a missing man has been found: there say there is no foul play suspected in the death of 60 year-old Jesse Day, a Buford man who last seen this past Monday. The body was found off Georgia Highway 347 in south Hall. A Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigation is ongoing.

A Gainesville man is booked into the Hall County jail on child cruelty charges: suspect Willis Humphrey (pictured above) is 35 years old. The alleged victim in the case is a 5 year-old.

Charges against a 31 year-old Lawrenceville man have been upgraded from DUI to include vehicular homicide: Gwinnett County Police say Diego Romero was at fault in the crash that claimed the life of a 37 year-old man from Duluth. Manuel Esteves-Sabino was killed in the wreck on Jimmy Carter Boulevard near Norcross.
