Campus notes include visit from congressional candidate

A candidate for Congress speaks tonight at UGA: Lynn Homrich addresses the University of Georgia's College Republicans. Homrich is a Home Depot executive who is running for the House District 7 seat being vacated by Gwinnett County Republican Rob Woodall.

This Wednesday, we are excited to host former Vice President of Human Resources for Home Depot and District 7 Candidate, Lynne Homrich. Come out to hear from Lynne Homrich and meet with your fellow Republicans.

The meeting will be this Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in MLC 348. There is no dress code.

The University of Georgia says more than 200 registered student organizations will set up shop at the Tate Student Center for today’s Student Involvement Fair: it’s underway at 11 o’clock this morning and lasts til 2 o’clock this afternoon.
