CANTON, GA — Canton police bust up a counterfeit theft ring involving thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from multiple business.
Officers were called to Target in Canton and took several men into custody for using fake money.
A search of their vehicle turned up nearly $2,000 in counterfeit bills along with drug paraphernalia.
It is estimated that they stolen over $24,000 worth of goods in several jurisdictions in Georgia and Florida.
