Coming to our city: ESPN College Gameday

ESPN says its College Gameday program will be in Athens for Saturday's Georgia Bulldog football game: the third-ranked Bulldogs, coming off this past weekend's 55-0 win over Arkansas State. The Dogs will host Number 7 Notre Dame Saturday night at Sanford Stadium. The ESPN broadcast from UGA will begin at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. The game kicks off at 8 o'clock Saturday night and will be televised on CBS.

The ESPN College GameDay show will be coming to Athens Saturday, Sept. 21, for the Georgia-Notre Dame game.

The college football show will be on the air from 9 a.m.-12 noon ET from the Georgia campus.

The last time College Gameday came to Athens was Sept. 28, 2013, when #9 Georgia defeated #6 LSU, 44-41. GameDay was last on site for a Georgia game on Dec. 1, 2018, in Atlanta when #1 Alabama defeated the #4 Bulldogs, 35-28, in the SEC Championship game.
