A-CC Commissioners meet tonight

Tonight's Athens-Clarke County Commission meeting is set for 6 o'clock at City Hall. More talk about the County's contract with the Classic Center headlines the evening agenda.

Madison County's Planning and Zoning Board meets this evening, 6:30 in Danielsville. 

County Commissioners in Hartwell are looking at a proposal that would double the homestead tax exemption for senior citizens in Hart County. It's $10,000 now; Commissioners are looking at a plan to raise it to $20,000 for those 65 and over in Hart County. 

An appointment to the city of Gainesville's Ethics Committee highlights the agenda for this afternoon's Gainesville City Council meeting, underway at 5:30 at the Administration Building in Gainesville.

The City Council in Flowery Branch is looking at a $5 million bond package, money for enhancements in downtown Flowery Branch.
