Deal to address UGA law grads, area high school seniors set to graduate

Former Governor Nathan Deal is a Saturday commencement speaker in Athens. He’ll speak to University of Georgia law school graduates in a ceremony set for 10 o’clock Saturday morning n UGA’s Stegeman Coliseum.

Today is the last day of the school year for students in the Clarke and Oconee County school districts. Graduation for Oconee County High School seniors is set for 3 o’clock this afternoon and for their counterparts at North Oconee High School at 7 o’clock tonight. Clarke Central High School graduation is 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, followed by commencement exercises for the Cedar Shoals High School class of 2019. The graduation ceremonies take place at the University of Georgia’s Stegeman Coliseum.
