Defeated candidate wants new election

A Jackson County School Board member defeated in his reelection campaign is challenging the results of last month’s voting: Steve Bryant lost a race to challenger Don Clerici, who amassed more than 60 percent of the ballots cast on May 22. Bryant says his name should have been first on the ballot, based on alphabetical order.
