Dogs add Wednesday night basketball game

The Georgia Bulldog basketball team, on the heels of Sunday’s season opening win over Florida A&M, lines up a game for tomorrow night: the Dogs will host the University of North Georgia in a game that is scheduled to tip at 7 o’clock Wednesday night in Stegeman Coliseum.

The Bulldogs will play the Jacksonville Dolphins Friday night, also at 7 and also in Stegeman.

From Mike Mobley, UGA Sports Communications…

The Georgia men’s basketball team will host North Georgia this Wednesday night at Stegeman Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. The game is a make-up contest for the Bulldogs after last Wednesday’s scheduled season opener against Columbus State was cancelled.

Information on tickets for Wednesday’s game will be announced when finalized. All tickets for the 2020-21 season will be distributed digitally.

The Bulldogs opened the season on Sunday with an 85-75 win over Florida A&M. Graduate transfer Andrew Garcia led Georgia with a game-high, while Tye Fagan (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Sahvir Wheeler (12 points, 12 assists) both added double-double performances.
