Back to class today at UGA: University of Georgia students are back in Athens after a long weekend that began with last Friday’s fall break. Many of them took advantage of the time off to head to Jacksonville for Saturday’s Bulldog football game against the Florida Gators. The Bulldogs beat the Gators and climb in the latest college football rankings, up from 8th to 6th in advance of this coming Saturday’s game against the Missouri Tigers. That game will kick at 7 o’clock in Sanford Stadium.

The Georgia Bulldogs picked up another huge win on Saturday, as they beat the Florida Gators 24-17 in Jacksonville, Fla. It was the third-straight win for the Bulldogs over the Gators.
The first batch of College Football Playoff rankings come out on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs do still have a number of tough games still on the schedule, including a game against No. 12 Auburn on Nov. 16. Georgia's next game comes against the Missouri Tigers. That game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ESPN.
Against the Gators, who are now ranked No. 10, Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm had a masterful performance. He completed 20 of his 30 pass attempts for 279 yards and two touchdowns. It was the first time in his Georgia career that he attempted 30 passes in a game Georgia won.
"He's had a lot of people that have questioned him, and he has a chip on his shoulder guy," Kirby Smart said. "Y'all have seen it over and over again where people doubt and continue to doubt and he continues to rise above. He's not a silver spoon-fed kid, he's a working kid. He works himself into it, he wills himself into it. I'm really proud of the way he played and led his team, and proud of a lot of others, I'm not saying it was just Jake, but Jake has a lot of pressure on him."
Smart is also 3-0 all-time against Dan Mullen as a head coach.
The top five in the AP Poll remain unchanged, as LSU is No. 1, Alabama is No. 2, Ohio State is No. 3, Clemson is No. 4 and Penn State is No. 5. Alabama and LSU play each other this week in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
