Elbert Co football coach retires

Elbert County High School is in the market for a new head football coach: Sid Fritts is stepping down after leading the Blue Devils to eight playoff appearances in nine seasons. Fritts also served as Athletic Director at the school in Elberton.

Fritts steps down with a 75-30 overall record at Elbert County and a 174-53-2 mark in his 20-year Georgia head coaching career.
