BARROW COUNTY, GA — The father of the accused Apalachee High School shooting is asking for a bond hearing.

Colin Gray is facing a list of charges including 2nd degree murder for allegedly allowing his son, Colt Gray, access to the gun used in the shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County on September 4 of last year.

Two teachers and two students were killed in the school shooting.

Gray’s lawyer has filed a petition for bond saying, “the lack of bond denies the defendant his federal and state constitutional right to be free of excessive bail.”
