GDOT: Watch for work in Winder

A much-traveled railroad crossing in Barrow County closes today: the Georgia Department of Transportation says its crews will spend most of the week working on the crossing on State Route 11 in Winder. The DOT says a detour is in place.

The detour uses State Route 11, US 29 Business, and East Midland Avenue in Winder.

The DOT says the work should be completed by Friday.
