NE Georgia Food Bank set to Stuff The Truck

Athens, GA - The Northeast Georgia Food Bank, the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Cox Media Group Athens are teaming up TODAY to 'Stuff The Truck' at Athens area Walmarts.

This afternoon from 3-8 p.m. at the Walmarts on Epps Bridge Rd, Lexington Rd, 441 in Commerce, and the Walmart Marketplace on Atlanta Highway, a box truck will be present with the goal of leaving full of canned goods, non-perishable items, and other items of need for the upcoming Holiday season.

There will be food, chances to meet UGA athletes, games, and fun for the whole family! Volunteers will be handing out wishlists for items we need to help families during the holidays, and encouraging people to help out their community by donating a few much-needed items!

FREE hotdogs will be available at all locations!
