In-person town hall scheduled in Watkinsville

Forum will also stream on-line

Oconee County Commissioners make plans for an in-person public forum, a town hall that is now scheduled for October 7 at the Oconee County Civic Center. The meeting will also be streamed on-line.

From the Oconee Co government website…

Oconee County Government will host a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Oconee County Civic Center. The meeting will be open for both in-person attendance and virtual attendance via Zoom.

Town Hall Meetings provide an opportunity for citizens to meet with their Oconee County Commissioners and voice their comments, concerns, and questions. The focus for the October Town Hall will be the 2021 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST). Attendees will also get a first look at recent renovations to the Civic Center.
