Lawrenceville Mayor says no reelection run

Judy Jordan Johnson says she will not seek another term as Mayor in Lawrenceville: Johnson was first elected to the Lawrenceville Mayor’s office in 2010. The election to name her successor will be held in November.

“It has been an incredible ride,” Johnson tells the Gwinnett Daily Post. “God has blessed me with an opportunity to serve the residents of Lawrenceville. That was my mission, to be a public servant. I don’t consider myself a politician. I consider myself a public servant.”
