Local government calendar includes bicycle talk in Athens

There is more bicycle talk on tap for today in Athens: the Athens in Motion Commission, formed to work on projects designed to enhance bicycle and pedestrian traffic in Athens, meets at 6 o’clock this evening.

There is an afternoon meeting of the Classic Center Authority. It’s set for 4 o’clock this afternoon at the Classic Center in downtown Athens.

Tonight’s Oconee County Commission meeting is set for 6 at the Oconee County courthouse in Watkinsville.

Barrow County Commissioners meet at 6 o’clock this evening at the Historic Courthouse in Winder.
