Local government notes include A-CC Commission work session

Elbert County Commissioners, meeting this week in Elberton, say they can fund the new Elbert County budget without an increase in property taxes.

There could be a new homeowners bill in one city in Gwinnett County: Lawrenceville is looking at a twenty dollar per month fee for garbage pick-up.

The state’s largest school district says it is dropping its mask mandate: there will no mandatory face coverings for students and teachers in the Gwinnett County School District.
