University of Georgia students begin today their second week of spring semester final exams, with seniors getting set for three days of socially distanced graduation exercises that begin Thursday in Sanford Stadium.

There are work sessions this afternoon in Elberton: Elbert County Commissioners meet at 4:30, while the Elbert County School Board convenes at 5:30.

A Hall County Commission work session is on tap for today, underway at 3 o’clock at the Hall County Government Center in Gainesville.

The Gainesville City School Board says public hearings on the Gainesville City School budget are tentatively scheduled for June 14 and 21.
