An Oakwood man is in the Hall County jail, accused of assaulting two women, one of them his mother: 21 year-old Oscar DeJesus is also charged with hitting a man in Hall County.

From the Hall County Sheriff's Office…

On September 9, 2018, Oscar Rodriguez-Dejesus, 21, of Oakwood, was arrested and charged with Simple Battery (FVA) (M) after striking a female in the face. Both Rodriguez-Dejesus and the victim (an adult female) were in a relationship.

In March 2019, a State Court bench warrant was issued for his arrest for Failure to Appear in Court.

In April 2019, a second bench warrant was issued for Failure to Appear in Court.

On April 12, 2019, while at a residence located in the 3300 block of Mountain View Road, Rodriguez-Dejesus struck his mother in the face causing swelling and a black eye.

During the same incident, he struck a second victim (an adult male) repeatedly in the face resulting in swelling and lacerations to his (the victim’s) face.

Deputies responded and obtained warrants for Rodriguez-Dejesus’s arrest on the same date.

He was charged with Battery (FVA) (M) and Battery.

On May 9, 2019, he was arrested without incident on the outstanding charges and booked in at the Hall County Jail.

This case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
