NE Ga notes include ribbon cutting for fire station, new venue for murder trial

Today is a ribbon cutting day in Jackson County, marking the ceremonial opening of the new West Jackson Fire Station 2 in Braselton. It is underway at 5 o’clock this afternoon.

The Elbert County School Board, meeting this week in Elberton, has given tentative approval to a $31.2 million budget for Fiscal Year 2022.
