New voting machines focus of tonight’s meeting of Athens Federation of Neighborhoods

The new voting machines will be on display at this evening’s meeting of the Athens Federation of Neighborhoods: it’s a 7:30 session at Cine on West Hancock. The new machines will be in use in Athens and around the state starting with the presidential preference primaries on March 24.

There is this reminder from the Athens-Clarke County Elections Office: we are today one week away from a voter registration deadline. Next Monday is the last day to register to vote in next month’s presidential preference primaries. Early voting in those primaries begins on March 2.
