“In celebration of World Rabies Day, Oconee County Animal Services will take action as part of the global World Rabies Day campaign,” said Oconee County Animal Services Manager Crystal Berisko. “We want to educate everyone about the importance of vaccinating pets against rabies. While rabies is a deadly virus, it is also preventable, and we hope these clinics will help increase education and understanding of the importance of these vaccines. Through the administration of these vaccines, families can have peace of mind in knowing that their pets and families are protected. Rabies is a global problem, but the solution to it begins right here at home.”
