Oconee County Animal Services set to celebrate renovations and expansion with ceremony

A “Leash Un-clipping” ceremony is scheduled to mark the official completion and unveiling of the Oconee County Animal Service’s building renovation and expansion project. The celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Animal Services facility, located at 1171 Branch Road in Bishop.

The recently completed project includes renovation of the building, expansion of the front lobby, and the addition of a multi-purpose room and office space. A new dog quarantine kennel, new cat quarantine kennel, and lab were also added.
