OutKast’s Big Boi donates 150 meals to poll workers in Atlanta

Some very lucky poll workers in Atlanta got a very special surprise this weekend.

OutKast’s Big Boi donated meals to the hard-working poll workers. The beloved Atlanta icon teamed up with Postmates and World Central Kitchen to donate 150 meals Saturday.

Big Boi wrote on Instagram: “We wanted to show some love this weekend to all those working hard at the polls in my hometown of ATL.”

Big Boi, real name Antwan Patton, grew up in Atlanta where he met André 3000, real name André Benjamin. They later formed the Grammy-award winning hip-hop group OutKast.

On Saturday, more than nearly 127,000 people early voted in Georgia, so poll workers worked up an appetite.

Big Boi urged his 1.5 million followers to vote in his Instagram post.
