Parents charged after child is shot, wounded

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says the parents of a 1 year-old who was accidentally shot and wounded by a 2 year-old have now been charged. The wounded child was treated at and released from a hospital in Atlanta after the shooting that happened on March 21 at a home in Hull. 26 year-old James Doster and 23 year-old Hannah Smith are facing reckless conduct charges.

A 50 year-old Gainesville man faces cocaine possession charges after a traffic stop on West Ridge Road in Hall County: Bryan Wells was booked into the Hall County jail. 

There is a DUI charge for the driver of a car that crashed in Lumpkin County, killing a passenger: Linsdey LeBaron is 22 years old, from Dahlonega. Killed in the wreck on Miles Berry Road in Lumpkin County was 40 year-old Jason Caldwell, also of Dahlonega. The Georgia State Patrol says LeBaron was not injured in the accident.

We have this morning the name of the Hall County man killed in a car crash in Forsyth County: Manuel Suarez was 59 years old, from Gainesville. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office says Suarez was a passenger in a car that was by another vehicle driven by a 16 year-old. Charges for the teenaged driver are pending.
