Police reports include arrest of Gainesville teen

A Jackson County man is facing charges in Elbert County: the Sheriff’s Office in Elberton says David Cook faces counts that include aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a felon. Cook is 31 years old, from Commerce.

There is an arrest in a shooting that happened earlier this week in Elberton: a woman, shot in the face, allegedly by 22 year-old Quadrius Rucker, was hospitalized in stable condition in Athens. Rucker was booked into the Elbert County jail on charges that include aggravated assault and child cruelty.

A man from Stephens County is arrested in Oconee County South Carolina: 27 year-old James Dugas is from Toccoa. He’s facing counts that include grand larceny after allegedly breaking into and stealing from a shop in Fair Play South Carolina.

A Gainesville teenager is arrested on child porn charges: 17 year-old Reynaldo Lopez was booked into the Hall County jail.
