Police reports: meth arrests in Elberton, road rage charges in Gainesville

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrests of methamphetamine suspects: Ronnie Mills is 39 years old; Kyle Brooks is 32. Both are from Elberton.

There are road rage charges for a man arrested in Hall County: Gainesville Police say 21 year-old Jamil Luciano pointed a gun at a car at an intersection in Gainesville. No shots were fired, and no one was injured. Luciano was arrested a short time after the incident and faces charges that include aggravated assault and possession of marijuana.

Fire destroys a duplex in Lawrenceville. There were no injuries in the Sunday blaze, but Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services says two people were burned out of their homes. Investigators say the fire was sparked when gusty winds brought down a tree that pulled down a power line outside the attic of one of the units.
