Prosecutor's Attorney Council of Georgia Executive Director Pete Skandalakis has released the findings in the investigation of an incident with former Athens-Clarke County Police Officer Taylor Saulters. The PAC was asked to investigate if criminal prosecution was warranted regarding use of force while effecting the arrest of a fleeing felon. The original incident happened back in June.

Oglethorpe County Sheriff David Gabriel hired Saulters shortly after the Athens-Clarke County Police Department fired him. Below is his statement after the PAC’s ruling, along with the full findings from the Prosecutor’s Attorney Council.
