February 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Community Room at Oconee Veterans Park to receive citizen input on Parks and Recreation items to consider for the 2021 SPLOST. Recreation Advisory Committee members will be onsite to collect suggestions per park, as well as other recreational items, that citizens recommend for the upcoming SPLOST.

SPLOST items can be used for funding capital outlay projects, such as new park facilities, or park renovations.

Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department Director Lisa Davol stated, “It is a great opportunity for citizens to provide feedback on future funding for new or upgrades to existing county park facilities. I hope citizens take advantage of the opportunity to share their thoughts on recreational needs in the county.”
