Royale Drive officer-involved shooting body cam footage released

On Thursday, Nov. 14, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department released body cam footage from an October 26th officer involved shooting on Royale Road that resulted in the death of 45-year-old Nan Zhao. Footage shows officers commanding Zhao to show his hands and drop his weapon. Zhao fired at officers who fired back, fatally wounding him. Zhao later died at the hospital. The GBI is investigating.
