Schools in Fulton to reopen, Gwinnett giving students option next semester

School buses are rolling again in Fulton County.

Thousands of students returned back to the classroom for in-person instruction this week for the first time since the spring. Students were still given the option of virtual learning. The district is opening up a portal for parents to track COVID-19 cases.

Gwinnett County Schools announced in a meeting Thursday that parents will have a choice of in-person or digital learning for next semester. School officials said parents will have a deadline to make their choice sometime in November.
