Shots fired at house, worker dies in accident, teen killed in crash

Athens-Clarke County Police say there were no injuries when gunshots were fired into a home off Jefferson River Road: it happened Wednesday. The house was hit, as were two cars outside the home on Hollow Ridge Drive. There was no immediate word on suspects or motive.

OSHA will investigate a deadly workplace accident in Hall County: a worker was killed after a fall at the Fieldale Farms facility in Murrayville. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says Chit Tuay was 38 years old.

A teenager is killed in a crash that happened on I-20 in Taliaferro County. The Georgia State Patrol says the 16 year-old was driving a stolen car on the wrong side of the interstate. An 18 year-old passenger was injured. Investigators say the car was reported stolen from South Carolina.
