Stabbing, robbery, rape suspects arrested

Athens-Clarke County Police level weapons charges against a man arrested at the Oak Hill Drive apartments: police say 30 year-old Tequan Smith faces charges that include criminal trespass, accused of breaking into what was evidently the wrong unit of the apartment complex. He’s also accused of illegally possessing the weapon with a felony conviction on his record.

Athens-Clarke County Police say there were no injuries in gunshots that were fired on Garnett Ridge Drive in Athens: police say there was damage to a pick-up truck, with a bullet hole in a door and windows that were shattered. Police were, at last report, still searching for a suspect.

A man arrested in Walton County is suspected in a string of robberies in Gwinnett County: police say 36 year-old Terrill Banks faces charges that include armed robbery—he's accused of holding up a Home Depot store. He's also accused in several shoplifting cases. 

A teenager faces assault charges in Elbert County: 17 year-old Trent Brock (pictured above) is charged in a knife attack that left the 26 year-old victim with stab wounds to his back. It happened in Elberton. Brock was booked into the Elbert County jail and was, at last report, being held without bond.

A woman from Franklin County is arrested in Oconee County South Carolina: Candace Tukes is from Lavonia; the theft charges she's facing in Walhalla South Carolina date back to 2013. 

A man accused of raping three children in Maryland is in the Gwinnett County jail: he was arrested by police in Lilburn.
