Tentative ID on body found in Barrow Co, arson suspect arrested in Elbert Co

Investigators in the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office say the body found last week in Winder is believed to be that of Andrew House. The 25 year-old Winder man was last seen September 16 and was reported missing by his father on September 18. His body was found in a pond in Barrow County. While there has been no word on cause of death, investigators say there are no signs of foul play.

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an arson suspect: Joshua Pilgrim is 36 years old, from Bowman. He’s charged with burglarizing a house and then setting it on fire.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a man is in custody after a high-speed chase along I-85, a police pursuit that ended in Anderson County South Carolina.
