UGA: heads-up on Riverbend Parkway

Traffic delays anticipated

With the University of Georgia set to begin on-campus, in-classroom instruction in three weeks, work on campus construction projects continues: one that takes place today involves the installation of a new sewer line along Riverbend Parkway. The University says the work will make for traffic delays.

UGA is set to start fall semester classes on August 24.

From the University of Georgia master calendar…

Due to construction activities for the installation on a new sewer line along Riverbend Parkway, traffic patterns along the parkway will be affected by a lane closure between the southern Players Club entrance and Woodstone Drive.
