22-year-old University of Georgia lacrosse player Tate Prezzano, who was shot at a bus stop near UGA’s campus during an attempted robbery earlier this year, announces the creation of the “Tate Tough” foundation. The foundation will serve as a scholarship fund to assist student athletes who demonstrate characteristics of strength and will serve as a way to increase security measures on the UGA campus to prevent further incidents from occurring. Prezzano will address the public for the first time to share his story this morning at 11:00 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
