Vandalism in Jackson Co, deadly motorcycle crash in Habersham Co

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is investigating vandalism at the historic Sell's Mill in Hoschton: the Sheriff's Office in Jefferson says the damage total will top the $10,000 mark.

On November 4th, 2019, The Jackson County Parks & Recreation Department found that someone had caused substantial damage to the Sell's Mill at Sell's Mill Park. A reward is being offered for the capture and conviction of the responsible parties. The suspects when located will face multiple felony charges. Anyone with information please contact: Capt. Dale A. A Hall County man has died from injuries suffered in a weekend motorcycle crash in Habersham County: Charles Colbert was 35 years old, from Lula. The wreck happened on Highway 365 in south Habersham; the Georgia State Patrol is investigating.
